Who knows lots of native birds?  There are plenty at Natureworld.

Cape Barren Geese
are native to Tasmania.
Through the efforts of conservationists
the cape barren goose,
once rare and threatened
with extinction,
now grazes the park

This extraordinary bird seems unrelated to any other genus.
It grunts like a pig when exhibiting aggressive territorial behaviour.

Are you narkie?

Narkie is another name for the native hen you will see at Natureworld.

They make a rasping hacksaw-like cacophony when disturbed
and can run very fast, but can't fly.

Once threatened with extinction but now breeding well in several places
including 56 reared in the park in 2000

I wonder how many other native birds you can find when you visit us.
